Ben was recently awarded the "Mover & Shaker Award" by Asia HRD, while Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah (Malaysia’s 7th Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir’s wife) was conferred the “Lifetime Achievement Award” – both during the same Awards Gala. Before starting his current venture back in 2010, he traveled around the world, led a team of 60 exhibition personnel, and built massive exhibition stands for health/defense industry clients from the USA, Australia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Germany, Abu Dhabi, China, Hong Kong and many more! At the age of 26, he had established business in the MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) industry, won several tenders, servicing renowned clients such as MRT Corp, SIEMENS Malaysia, Longines, Starhill Gallery, and many others. By leveraging his experience in MICE Industry, he identified a need in the education industry and decided to fill the gap with Talentbank, which currently has a team collaborating with over 100+ universities & 3,000+ graduate employers such as Maybank, Google, Microsoft, PETRONAS, Shopee Malaysia, Intel, CIMB, Shell, Celcom, PwC and many. In the process, both Ben and Talentbank have touched the lives of over 500,000 graduates. At Talentbank, Ben and his team are on a mission to build a comprehensive employability ecosystem in order to reduce the unemployment rate in Malaysia. He is also a certified trainer with HRD Corporation.
